
Summary
In this paper, the calculation method of design energy efficiency ratio (DEERs) of air-conditioning projects and their subsystems are presented. Based on the investigation of air-conditioning projects design of 26 commercial buildings in Chongqing, DEERs of air conditioning projects in summer, which include DEER of the whole projects, of the cold source systems, of the water systems and of the air systems are calculated, as well. Besides the reason why the maximum and minimum values four DEERs emerged is analyzed. Also, the mean values and the deviation of four DEERs and the approach to improving the DEERs are discussed.
