Status of the development of the hydraulic refrigeration system.

Summary

The author explains the principle and operation of a fluid-compression cold production system. The fluid is compressed hydraulically in a vertical tube, where bubbles are sucked along from top to bottom with a liquid flux; the n-butane-water couple was experimented. The mechanical part of the system contains only a pump. Performance is indicated, progressing research and improvements are evoked. A diagram is given.
