Summary
Dried chamomile flowers were stored in three types of packaging at two temperatures (0-2 and 20-23 deg C) for up to two years. Samples were removed for analysis every fourth month. Flowers were steam-distilled and the following components of the essential oil extract were determined: chamazulene, bisabolol and its oxides, farnesene, spiroether and bisabolonoxide.
