Summary

The paper presents a numerical investigation of cooling with solidification for thermodependent pseudoplastic fluid, flowing in a horizontal duct subjected to uniform external convection. Special attention is given to the liquid-solidification free length, the evolution of the axial velocity profile and the evolution of the local Nusselt number. The temperature-dependent effects of the fluid are highlighted.
