Summary
A scheme of a cold-storage device that can be used for artificial or natural cooling is presented. In particular usage conditions, the device meets the main requirements of simplicity, low price of materials used, and high-intensity heat-exchange processes. A study was made of the freezing process in the elements of the storage device. The results were processed and used to obtain a mathematical relationship between the thickness of the ice and the main parameters. The results obtained helped make more accurate the calculations of ice-formation processes under different conditions in cold-storage devices. C.C.
