Summary
A dynamic model of solar-driven ejector refrigeration system was developed and seven representative cities were selected to investigate the feasibility and reliability of application solar driven ejector refrigeration system in China. Results show that the average COP(total) of the system is between 0.38 and 0.5 and the solar fraction between 0.18 and 0.52, i.e., if the system is used for air conditioning, it can reduce by about 1/3 power consumption for air conditioning. Therefore, the application of the solar-driven ejector refrigeration system in China is reliable in thermal performance and feasible in economy, which shows this system can be widely used in China and deserves popularization for energy conservation and environmental protection.
