Summary
In order to reduce the consumption of oil and improve the motivity of the automobile, the authors used ICE engine block, cylinder liners, and cylinder headers as the generator of the absorption refrigeration system, and a lithium bromide solution was charged into the engine cooling cavities, which might realize the objective using one single-effect lithium-bromide absorption hot-cold water unit to replace the automobile air-conditioning refrigeration and heating system and the automobile engine cooling system. Through theoretical analysis using thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hydrodynamics, the authors found that it is practical to use this project for its simple and compact structure. This device is of great value to the future research and development of the automobile air conditioning system.
