Summary
The paper proposes a method to create a highly accurate energy-consumption model. The resultant model calculates one home's monthly energy consumption of electric power, kerosene, and city gas. The models produced are non-linear-multiple-regression models. The comparison showed that the proposed model predicts more precisely than the ordinary linear-multiple-regression ones. Moreover, the non-linear model clarified effective techniques for energy consumption research, such as those used for a data-mining tool and a simulation tool.
