Summary
The applicability of evaporative cooling air-conditioning systems in rural areas of China was studied. The results show that the evaporative cooling air-conditioning system is applicable to the whole rural area in Xinjiang; most of the rural areas in Gansu, Ningxia and Neimeng; and also some rural areas in Shanxi and Heilongjiang. For the whole rural area in Qinghai and Tibet, ventilating in summer can meet the requirement of indoor comfort. It is suggested that the study of critical technology should be speeded up to promote the application of evaporative cooling air-conditioning systems in rural areas of China.
