Summary

SAMPLES OF THE GRAPHITE COMPOUNDS INTERCALATED BY POTASSIUM AND THE HIGH PRESSURE PHASES TEMPERED DOWN TO 77 K AT A LOAD OF P = 1.3 OR 2.1 GPASCALS ARE SYNTHETIZED BY THE HIGHPRESSURE TECHNIQUE. THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION TEMPERATURE T AND TEMPERATURE AND ANGULAR DEPENDENCES OF THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD H ARE MEASURED. THE SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF THE SAMPLES STUDIED CAN BE SATISFACTORILY DESCRIBED BYTHE ANISOTROPIC EFFECTIVE MASS MODEL IN THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL CASE. FURTHER DIRECTIONS OF STUDY OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF THE BINARY SYSTEMS GRAPHITE-ALKALI METAL UNDER HIGH PRESSURE ARE DISCUSSED.
