Summary

This study demonstrated that sheep embryos are highly sensitive to freezing procedures. The developmental stage markedly influenced the survival rate, which rose with advancing developmental stages. The authors concluded that the cryopreservation protocol used has to be adapted according to the developmental features of the embryos.
