Summary
A Swedish box storage system for potatoes is a continuous ventilation system with low air flow rates which automatically controls air temperature and activates air humidifiers as the tubers dry out. The physical laws are thereby fully taken into account. The method comprises a comprehensive system of avoiding common problems such as condensation on tuber surfaces.
