Summary

The climate rooms of TNO are used for climate tests. Six test rooms of different sizes and specifications are available, tuned to frequently occurring refrigeration tests. A number of test systems are discussed. These are concerned with testing refrigerated transport and refrigerated transport units (ATP), refrigerated cabinets, domestic refrigerators and freezers, heat pumps, caravan windows and high-tension transformers. Tests are executed in compliance with international standards or in consultation with the customer, according to a tailor-made test protocol.
