Technique and technology of cryogenic sorption vacuum pumps.

Summary
The paper presents a new type of highly effective cryosorption pump (CSP-1D), using liquid nitrogen as a cooling agent. By simulation, optimal values of basic technical and operational parameters (such as pressure, pumping rate and liquid nitrogen consumption) were determined. The cryosorption pump was constructed within the frames of G-401 Project, and its cryogenic and vacuum parameters were studied.
