Summary

The construction of a 70 megawatt model machine was carried out as planned in the new Sunshine Project. The research and development of niobium-titanium field windings is the key technology. The following test codes of niobium-titanium superconductors were developed: 1) pretreatment of sample; 2) form of sample; 3) test conditions; 4) test method; and 5) analysis of test results. The paper gives an outline of the test codes and several analyzed results in 70 megawatt generator.
