Test results of R22 alternative refrigerants in a unitary air conditioner.
Author(s) : HUGHES A. M.
Summary
The paper focuses on the test results from an evaluation of three zero ozone depleting alternatives to R22 in a unitary air conditioner. Refrigerants evaluated include: R22 as the baseline, an azeotropic mixture of R32 and R125 designated as AZ20, R134a, and a zeotropic blend of R32, R125, and R134a, designated as R407C. Conditions of tests, and results are given.
