Summary

THE RESULTS OF TEST STUDIES ARE GIVEN FOR HEAT EXCHANGE AND HYDRODYNAMICS IN AIR-COOLED CONDENSERS. THE EFFECT OF BUILDING PARAMETERS ON HEAT EXCHANGE AND HYDRAULIC RESISTANCE WAS DETERMINED. THE TESTING OF AN EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF AIR-COOLED CONDENSER MADE OF ROLLED-WELDED PANELS SHOWED THAT THE OVERALL HEAT EXCHANGE COEFFICIENT FOR THE MODEL IS 1.6 TO 1. 7 TIMES HIGHER THAN FOR THE SERIES UNIT.
