THE AUTHORS SHOW THE PROBLEMS OF AIR CONDITIONING PLANT FOR A PALACE OF THE 18TH CENTURY IN VENICE, FOR THE EXHIBITION OF IMPORTANT WORKS OF ART. THE SELECTION OF THE PROJECT IS ILLUSTRATED, PARTICULARLY REFERRING TO THE CENTRAL HEATING AND COOLING PLANT: HEAT PUMPS USING LAGOON WATER WITH INDIRECT EXCHANGERS ; WATER AND AIR FILTRATION PROCEDURES ; ENERGY RECOVERY EITHER IN SUMMER OR IN WINTER. THE SYSTEM ADOPTED PROVIDES PROFITABLE MANAGEMENT SAVINGS COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS.
