Summary
Studies show that a non-azeotropic refrigerant mixture (NARM) has a higher COP when it is used in a vapour compression refrigeration cycle. In the paper, a new absorption refrigeration cycle was proposed; it uses NARM as refrigerant so as to achieve a higher cycle COP. The characteristics of the cycle at different working conditions were calculated and analyzed. The results show that both COP and refrigeration capacity were higher than those of the traditional cycle.
