Summary
This new absorption system can achieve much lower temperatures than the traditional ones. The characteristics of this system under different working conditions are calculated and analysed. A mixture of R23 and R134a is used as refrigerant, the absorbent being DMF. A schematic diagram and the performance of this auto-cascade cycle are presented.
