Le concept Dagard d'encoffrement de l'amiante.

Type of article: Periodical article

Summary

According to the firm OCTAEDRE, the asbestos-containing surface area of French buildings (excluding false ceilings) is roughly 100 million square metres, of which 20 million square metres remain to be treated. VERITAS has arrived at a similar conclusion. The proposed process comprises the use of a physical airtight barrier between asbestos-fibre coated surfaces and the rest of premises. The process can be used on ceilings and vertical partitions in: industrial; commercial (storage, distribution hubs) and collective buildings and sporting facilities. A test site was set up.
