THE EVAPORATION OF AMMONIA IN AMMONIA-HYDROGEN ATMOSPHERE FOR SMALL ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION UNITS. DETERMINATION OF THE INLET MASS FRACTION AND MASS FLOW RATE OF THE AMMONIA-HYDROGEN GAS MIXTURE.

Summary

A STUDY OF THE PARAMETERS AFFECTING AMMONIA EVAPORATION IN AN AMMONIA-HYDROGEN ATMOSPHERE. THE SOLVING OF THE AMMONIA EVAPORATION SYSTEM IN AN INSULATED TUBE AND PRESENTATION OF CHARTS CORRESPONDING TO THE PARAMETERS CONSIDERED (INLET TEMPERATURE AND MASS CONCENTRATION OF THE AMMONIA-HYDROGEN GAS, INLET MASS FLOW RATE OF HYDROGEN, OVERALL PRESSURE OF THE MIXTURE AND INLET CONDITIONS OF THE LIQUID AMMONIA). THE RESULTS LEAD TO A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE FLOW RATE OF THE GAS AND ITS MASS CONCENTRATION IN MEASURING THE PRESSURE AND THE THREE TEMPERATURES AT THE INLET AND THE OULET OF THE INSULATED PIPE.
