EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL STUDIES ON AN AMMONIA ABSORPTION-COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM.

Author(s) : BAO H., YANG S.

Summary

THE PRACTICAL FEASIBILITY OF THE AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION-COMP RESSION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM, IN WHICH THE ABSORPTION IS USED IN THE LOW-PRESSURE PART, AND THE COMPRESSION IS USED IN THE HIGH-PRESSURE PART, IS PROVED BY MEANS OF EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL STUDIES. THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS SYSTEM IS INFLUENCED BY SOME PARAMETERS. THE OPTIMUM INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE IS EVALUATED AS FUNCTION OF THE COOLING WATER TEMPERATURE, REFRIGERATION TEMPERATURE, AND HEAT SOURCE TEMPERATURE.
