COP VALUES OF NON-EQUILIBRIUM AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION CYCLES.

Summary
A METHOD IS PRESENTED ALLOWING TO DESCRIBE, CALCULATE AND PLOT THE REAL CYCLE OF AN AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH IRREVERSIBILITIES TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT. THE MAIN FACTORS INDUCING IRREVERSIBILITIES ARE CONSIDERED AND THE CORRESPONDING VALUES OF THE COP ARE OBTAINED AT VARIOUS OPERATING CONDITIONS. A COMPARISON OF THE IRREVERSIBLE CYCLES WITH THE IDEAL CYCLE IS MADE AND CORRESPONDING VALUES OF PERFORMANCE ARE GIVEN.
