The evolution of the high efficiency two-pole hermetic compressor.
Author(s) : SIEWERT H.
Summary
The paper presents a tracking of the history of performance increase of two-pole hermetic compressor. The increased efficiency has not been the result of improvements in any singular component. It has occurred due to small improvements in all components of the compressor. The changes of these components and how these changes affected the overall performance of the compressor are discussed.
