The flow boiling heat transfer of liquid nitrogen on the porous layer surface.

Author(s) : WANG R., YANG M., GU A., DING G.

Summary

A physical model of boiling heat transfer in vertical channel of porous layer surface has been developed on the basis of many years' experiment research. The effect of film velocity and thickness on porous layer on liquid-vapour flow and heat transfer were studied. Then an experimental study and analysis of the influence of channel interval, practical size, thickness of porous layer and height of thermal siphon of liquid nitrogen, on the boiling heat transfer was conducted.
