THE ICE CREAM CONSUMPTION BY HOUSEHOLDS INCREASED BY 6.67L IN 1970 TO 11.3L IN 1980; HOWEVER, THE PERCENTAGE OF CONSUMING HOUSEHOLDS INCREASED ONLY FROM 45 TO 56.7% BETWEEN THESE TWO YEARS. A GRAPH COMPARES THE PERCENTAGES OF CONSUMERS, ACCORDING TO THEIR AGE, IN 1974 AND 1980, THE MOST NUMEROUS BEING BETWEEN 11 AND 20 YEARS OLD. A SECOND GRAPH GIVES FOR 1980 THE PERCENTAGES OF CONSUMERS IN TERMS OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE PER HOUSEHOLD AND OF THE NUMBER OF INHABITANTS PER REGION.
