Summary

THE AUTHORS EXAMINED THE INFLUENCE OF TWO METHODS OF FREEZING BULL SEMEN: ON BLOCKS OF DRY ICE, AND ON METAL SHEETS COOLED WITH LIQUID NITROGEN, ON BIOLOGICAL VALUES OF SPERMATOZOA. THE ACROSINE ACTIVITY IN ACROSOMIC EXTRACTS OF CELLS AND INHIBITORS OF THIS ENZYME DID NOT DIFFER STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANTLY IN RELATION TO THE APPLIED TECHNOLOGY OF SEMEN FREEZING AND THE TWO METHODS MAY BE USED IN PRACTICE.
