BRIEF REPORT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MARKET FOR FROZEN PRODUCTS IN FRANCE DURING THE 25 YEARS WHICH HAVE ELAPSED SINCE THE FRENCH DECREE OF JUNE 13, 1964, TO THE EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE OF FEBRUARY 11, 1989. THIS DEVELOPMENT IS ILLUSTRATED BY AN INCREASE IN TOTAL CONSUMPTION (82 TO 936 KILOTONNES PER YEAR) AND IN PER CAPITA CONSUMPTION (1.6 TO 17.7 KILOGRAMMES PER YEAR), BY CHANGES IN DISTRIBUTIONBY TYPE OF FOODSTUFF AND BY COMPARISON WITH OTHER COUNTRIES.
