Summary
The work enters in the field of mathematical modelling of the film absorption processes, with applications in designing of absorbers with horizontal pipes and water-ammonia film-type solution. The three models presented by the authors allow the obtaining of the variation graphs of temperature, concentration and rich solution mass rate ratio in comparison with the initial mass rate, depending on the film optimal velocity, the film thickness and the main geometrical and physical parameters. The results presented can be used in the designing of absorbers.
