Summary

POTENTIAL PROCESSES FOR THE NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF HEAT CONDUCTING PROCESSES WITH PHASE TRANSITION ARE INTRODUCED AND ANALYSED. EXAMPLE CALCULATIONS PROVE THAT THE METHOD OF THE EQUIVALENT MATTER RATINGS IS ESPECIALLY SUITED TO THE DESCRIPTION OF SOLID-LIQUID PHASE TRANSITIONS, SINCE BOTH THE ABRUPT AND CONTINUAL PHASE TRANSITION CAN BE DESCRIBED WITH HIGH PRECISION. AS A PREREQUISITE, AN EFFICIENT TEMPERATURE FIELD CALCULATION PROGRAM IS NEEDED THAT IS SUITED TO HEAVILY NON-LINEAR PROBLEMS. THE FIRST RESULTS WITH A TEMPERATURE FIELD PROGRAM OF SQUARE SETUP FUNCTIONS ACCORDING TO THE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD ARE PRESENTED.
