Summary

Within the present work of heterogeneous-continuum mechanics, in the two-velocity, two-temperature Euler approximation, this article examines the turbulent flow of an air-drop mixture through a duct. Effects due to drop evaporation, deposition of drops from the flow onto the duct wall, heat transfer due to direct contacts of drops with the wall, the stochastic motion of drops, and non-isotropic turbulent fluctuations of their velocities on the heat and mass transfer processes in the turbulent flow are studied.
