The optimum choice of a scroll compressor.
Author(s) : CEJKA Z.
Summary
Scroll technology differs from piston technology in terms of the constant pressure ratio achieved by the scroll geometry and the scroll physical principle. To accommodate the pressure ratio to the real one induced by external working conditions, the producer develops several lines of scroll models according to the use of an individual type. The article deals with the comparison of the Copeland lines, specifies the advantages and the reasons for installation of a chosen type of scroll.
