Summary
This paper presents calculated COPs of thermoacoustic refrigerators and tries to find optimum stack plate distance. There are two main parameters that have influence on properly work of the thermoacoustic stack. First, one is the thermal penetration depth, second, one is the viscous penetration depth. This article shows mathematical calculation of the optimum distance between layers. On the second part of the article the mathematical results will be compared to experimental results.
