Summary
The test room air conditioner working with R32 is a product developed for the use of R410A. The COP, cooling and heating capacities and all parameters were measured both for refrigerant R410A and R32. The following results are confirmed: the performance of R32 is higher than that of R410A due to the pressure drop and heat exchange characteristics; the charge amount of R32 is less than that of R410A. The effects of the performance of components on the COP are also analyzed. Then, it is clarified that the most effective factor is irreversibility of the compressor and the next is pressure drop in the low-pressure side of the refrigerant loop system.
