Summary
The air-source heat pump water heater is a novel product and has many advantages, for example, safety, energy conservation, environmental protection. However, the COP is low when it works in the winter especially in north China and the performance is not stable. In this paper, the experiment device of the air-source heat pump water heater is presented and the relationships between time and water temperature, time and COP and defrosting under three different ambient temperatures are obtained, based on the experiments optimization of the system and the defrosting of the evaporator is found.
