The quality and safety of frozen and chilled food from the point of view of Union regulations.

Author(s) : CWIERTNIEWSKI K.

Summary

Production and distribution of food, including frozen and chilled, on the account of health safety, is embraced by a number of legal provisions, sometimes fairly detailed. The accession of Poland to the European Union caused the necessity for national regulations to adjust to the valid Union regulations. This review reflects the valid regulations at the end of 2007 in respect to frozen and chilled food, implemented directly (Regulations EU), as well as national regulations adapted to Union regulations.
