PROCEEDING FROM THE VIEWPOINT THAT THE THERMAL INSULATION OF MANY PIPELINES AND DEVICES GENERALLY DO NOT CALL FOR QUALITY, THE AUTHOR DEALS WITH THE QUALITY CONTROL OF PIPELINES AND DUCTS. HE SUGGESTS A SIMPLE AND SUITABLE METHOD FOR THE VALORIZATION OF PROPER QUALITATIVE VALUES OF THERMAL INSULATION AND THE ENERGY SAVINGS ACHIEVED.
