Summary

According to the American Quick-Frozen Food Institute, production of quick-frozen fruit in the US reached a level of 452,970 tonnes in 1997. US quick-frozen vegetable production reached a level of 1.6 million tonnes in 1997. With the exception of spinach, exports of quick-frozen vegetables dropped last year.
