THE REFRIGERATION CAPACITY OF A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNIT UNDER HUMID CONDITIONS.
[In Dutch. / En néerlandais.]
Author(s) : NIEUWENHUIZEN G. H. van
Type of article: Article
Summary
IT APPEARED THAT THE AVERAGE EFFECTIVE CAPACITY OF THE UNIT DE CREASED 70% OF ITS NOMINAL CAPACITY. TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNITS WORK WITH RELATIVELY LARGE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES, WHICH CAN TEMPORARILY LEAD TO LOW HUMIDITIES. AN APPROACH IS GIVEN TO ESTIMATE THE HUMIDITY EQUILIBRIUM BETWEEN THE RATE OF MOISTURE SUPPLY IN THE LOADING SPACE AND MOISTURE REMOVAL BY THE REFRIGERATION UNIT.
