THE MATRIX OF THE ROTOTHERM HEAT EXCHANGERS IS CONSTRUCTED FROM A SEAWATER CORROSION RESISTANT ALLOY TO A VERY HIGH SPECIFICATION. THIS HAS ENABLED THEIR USE IN ARDUOUS INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS WHERE, AFTER MANY YEARS OF OPERATION, THEY ARE STILL PRACTICALLY AS NEW. THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE APPLICATION OF THE SYSTEM IN A METAL WORKING PLANT IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
