The use of impedance analysis for the study of critical events in the frozen state, for formulation and lyo-cycle development.

Author(s) : WARD K., MATEJTSCHUK P.

Summary

The aim of this study was to employ Lyotherm2 to analyse a wide range of simple solutions and more complex formulations prior to freeze-drying, in order to establish whether the measurement of the function of impedance can provide meaningful information that other techniques may be unable to detect. In this article, the authors present some of the more salient findings of this study. More details will be provided in the presentation accompanying this paper, as well as in the paper by Matejtschuk et al. in this volume.
