IIR document
Theoretical and experimental research of absorption refrigeration.
Author(s) : POREDOS A.
Summary
The development of compact and commercially interesting adsorption-based refrigeration devices requires further research of operation parameters. The paper presents a simple computation model for determining the time dependence of water content of the zeolite in the adsorption phase. The determination of COP is analysed for the pure adsorption process and for an actual refrigerator design. Measurements were made to test the correctness of the dynamic model.
