Summary
A lithium bromide absorption heat pump is presented. It was a double-effect and double-stage heat pump of which the diagram is presented and which produced refrigeration on one side and heat at two different temperatures on the other side, coupling two absorbers and two generators. The operating system of the exchangers was changed by a simple set of valves. If necessary an ordinary boiler assures the back-up and an automatic commutation makes it possible to optimise the distribution between the three heating-air conditioning systems. J.L.
