Type of article: Article
Summary
The specific heat of intermetallic compounds has been investigated and the performance of some small regenerative cycle cryocoolers below 15 K has been improved by using intermetallic compounds as regenerator materials. In the paper, the heat transfer has been studied. Suitable sizes of the materials for application in regenerators are discussed in view of the non-steady heat transfer.
