Summary

THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY HAS BEEN STUDIED OF NIOBIUM-TITANIUM ALLOYS WITH LARGE CONCENTRATIONS OF COMPONENTS AND WITH DIFFERENT STRUCTURE DEFECTS IN THE INTERVAL OF 4.2 TO 30 K. LOW VALUES OF THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND ITS CONCENTRATION DEPENDENCE ARE DUE TO THE SMALL ELECTRON COMPONENT OF THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY. THE DIFFERENCES IN THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY IN THE SUPERCONDUCTING STATE ARE DETERMINED BY THE PHONON COMPONENT. IN THIS CASE THE PHONON SCATTERING DEPENDS STRONGLY ON THE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF THE SAMPLE.
