Summary

Thermal conductivities of saturated liquid of HFO-1234ze(E), HFC-32, and their mixture have been measured with the transient hot wire method where long and short platinum wires with 15 µm of diameter are used to eliminate the end effect at junctions. Measurements were conducted under the condition of saturated temperature from 10 to 80°C though it is limited under the critical temperature. Measured values of HFC-32 agree well with literature value with in ±2% error which proves the reliability of present measurement. The thermal conductivity of HFO-1234ze(E) is lower than HFC-32 and it varies from 79 to 57 mW/(m·K) for the temperature from 10 to 80°C. The thermal conductivity of mixture is between the both pure refrigerants and it is slightly lower than linearly interpolated value.
