Thermo-physical problems in cooling electronic equipment.
[In Russian. / En russe.]
Author(s) : SMIRNOV G. F.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article describes the design and the operation of a cooling system for a 150-kilowatt supercomputer using new modern techniques of heat transmission by condensation and evaporation and by conduction and convection. Heat pipes and thermosiphons are used. Temperature control is very accurate. Mathematical models were necessary to set up the system.
