THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON PETROLEUM GAS SEPARATION SYSTEM INCORPORATING ROTARY JET EXPANDERS (RJE).

Author(s) : SHAO J.

Summary

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF A GAS SEPARATION SYSTEM INCORPORATING RJE FOR SEPARATING HYDROCARBON GASES IS DESCRIBED FOR THE RECOVERY OFGASES SUCH AS ETHANE AND HEAVIER HYDROCARBONS FROM PETROLEUM GAS. TEST ON THIS SYSTEM PROVED THAT RJE COULD HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF OPERATING WITH BETTER EFFICIENCY AND OVER A WIDER RANGE OF CONDITIONS THAN RECIPROCATING AND TURBINE EXPANDERS.
