Summary

THE EFFECT OF A SYSTEM OF TWINNING BOUNDARIES WITH LOCAL ENHANCEMENT OF SUPERCONDUCTING PAIRING ON THE THERMODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION IS CONSIDERED. THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE SPECIFIC HEAT OF SUCH A SYSTEM IS CALCULATED. THE RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPECIFIC HEAT OF SINGLE CRYSTALS OF THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTOR YBACUO(7-). JOSEPHSON INTERACTION BETWEEN THE SUPERCONDUCTING TWINNING PLANES OCCURS ABOVE THE BULK TRANSITION CRITICAL TEMPERATURE. THE FORCE OF INTERACTION BETWEEN THE SUPERCONDUCTING VORTEX AND TWINNING PLANE IS DETERMINED.
